You know that science education is a whole lot more than memorizing facts. Taking your teaching beyond the classroom walls is a great way to help your students become engaged learners with a love of science and help them on their path to college and career readiness.
Hands-On Science Education
Our programs include unique opportunities such as behind-the-scenes workshops, lessons with scientists in the field and up close encounters with incredible biodiversity.
Service Learning Projects
Students connect with the communities they visit through service learning. Whether they are working in local schools or helping with sustainability projects, it will be life changing.
If you choose an international program, your students will also gain an understanding of other cultures. They will taste local cuisine, meet some of the local residents and broaden their world view.
We wouldn’t want you to travel without a little adventure! You can customize your tour to match the level of your group. Typical adventure activities include ziplining, whitewater rafting, surfing/snorkeling, team building activities, kayaking, hiking and horseback riding.
Costa Rica is one of the most culturally and biologically diverse places in the world. Students will participate in a wide variety of activities including hands-on science education, community service projects, immersion in local culture, rainforest canopy tours and white water rafting.
